About the Artist....
Bea grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, where she achieved a B.A. in Fine Art and English at the University of British Columbia. Following her degree, she furthered her education by studying animation and discovered a new outlet for her creative energy in the form of the computer art. At a time when computer graphics had just begun to emerge, Bea used this education, and her artistic talent, to begin a career with Mainframe Entertainment, where she animated on many popular shows including Reboot, Transformers, and Barbie. This continued for 8 years until the birth of her first child and a move to Kelowna, BC where she began to teach animation at the Center for Art and Technology. With the birth of her second child, Bea searched for a career which would allow her to be home with her kids and, at the same time, offer an outlet for her artistic passion.
